Celebrate the Small Things- July 19 July 19, 2013

So here it is another “Celebrate the Small Things”, not as easy as you think, especially if you find that you are repeating yourself. To me this means my dull everyday life is stable. So I celebrate a stable week. Nothing major or catastrophic happened. The garden is good, the children are good, I scraped by till payday, temporarily solve my internet problem (I would go batty without my internet), and the rain has been a blessing.

So what small things are you celebrating?

Share Your World: Week 23 July 16, 2013

I have found yet another weekly blogging challenge. I have a hard time coming up with ideas to post. I love challenges and maybe in the future I will come up with a great challenge of my own. This one is Share Your World founded by Cee Nuener of Cee’s Photography

Week 23

I love her photography and I would join her photo challenges but my camera went kaput about a month ago. I need to start a piggy bank for buy Cindy a new camera fund.

I just found this challenge so I am a day late for Monday posting. They are on week 23 so here are the questions.

Are you mostly a clean or messy person?

As a kid was there any kind of candy that you didn’t like to get?  How about now?

Do you believe in extraterrestrials or life on other planets?

Have your blogging goals changed?

Are you mostly a clean or messy person? I’ll have to say I am mostly a messy person. I try to clean but when there is no place to store things, including no closets things have a tendency to pile up….and fall over. A lot.

As a kid was there any kind of candy that you didn’t like to get? How about now? Growing up my Dad loved black licorice, so it was always in our house. I hated the taste and still dislike it to this day.

Do you believe in extraterrestrials or life on other planets? My Dad and I use to watch everything we could about extraterrestrials. We use to watch “In search of…” and “Star Trek”. The universe is a big place, It would be selfish to think that we are the only ones that exist.

Have your blogging goals changed?I would have to say yes. I am writing more for the sake of my enjoyment as well as others.

This week’s express yourself question asks… Whether watching a movie at the theater or at home, what’s your go to snack?

I have to say some of these questions are downright silly.

I don’t go to many movies. I may see a movie every couple of months. If I can afford it, I will get popcorn. I just love popcorn.

If I can’t I will bring with me a box of some kind of sour candy like sweet tarts.

Most movie places don’t allow you to bring in food. Always being short of cash, I realize this is how movie theaters make their money. Have you seen the price of theater snacks lately?

I do usually buy a small coke.

At home I don’t watch movies and try to do as little snacking as possible. That being a whole other topic…

So what’s your go to snack when watching movies?

Celebrate the Small Things July 7, 2013

This post was suppose to be for Friday the 5th of July. With all the rain we’ve had this week, my already horrible internet decided to go on vacation for 2 days.

I was also on vacation this week which is sadly my last day, back to work tomorrow. So I’m celebrating my staycation. I didn’t go anywhere, just couldn’t afford it but I did catch up on a lot of sleep. My plans for doing some cleaning went out the window as just resting and destressing became my main goal. With my family wanting constant attention, I’m not sure I got the destressing part right. The rain all week did make it pleasantly comfortable temperature wise. Overall it has been a good week.

What are you celebrating?

Celebrate the Small things: June 28 June 28, 2013

I went to the grocery store yesterday and brought my youngest son with me. He rarely gets to go anywhere. “Yeah an adventure” he says. Oh yes an adventure…

The grocery store went well…

It seems that every time my husband goes out of town and I run into town for whatever, something goes wrong with my vehicle.  So I am celebrating the kind young man who stopped and helped me at the grocery store yesterday get my truck running so I could get home. It was hot and my son was very patient and behaving well (always a blessing). I’m also celebrating that it was an easy fix and I did not have to buy any parts.

So what are you celebrating?

Express Yourself June 10-14 June 13, 2013

Express Yourself June 10-14, What are the last two movies you saw?

I remember that last movie I went to see was The Hobbit, but to be perfectly honest I don’t remember what other movie I have seen because it’s been so long ago. I just can’t afford to go to the movies and I don’t watch TV, except for the half hour lunch break I get at work. Pretty sad huh?

What are the last two movies that you have seen?

Hope you all have a great day. This is a Blog Hop!
