Blog a Day in May: Day 8 Advice May 7, 2013

Day 8, Wednesday: A piece of advice you have for others. Anything at all.

Never give advice. Never believe what you hear and only half of what you see and even then, take it with a grain of salt.

Blog Everyday in May: Day 7 Things You’re Most Afraid Of

Day 7, Tuesday: The thing(s) you’re most afraid of

I am not real good at writing or describing anything about myself. So I decided to try this challenge. Seemed simple enough. So far the hardest part of this challenge has been to actually have the time to post.

One of the things I’m most afraid of is snakes, I can’t stand them in any way, shape or form. I can’t tell a poisonous one from a non-poisonous one so I’m afraid of them all. snake

I also have a fear of heights not so much because of the height but because I’m afraid of falling, actually the hard landings. So what kind of fears do you have, what makes you afraid?

Blog Every Day In May: Day 6 May 6, 2013

Day 6 Monday: If you couldn’t answer with your job, how would you answer the question, what do you do?

In my job, I help care for people when they are sick. I listen to people when they need to talk. I help them learn how to cope with everyday life so that they can get back on track with their lives.

Blog every day in May: Day 4, Saturday: Favorite quote May 4, 2013

Blog every day in May: Day 4, Saturday: Favorite quote (from a person, from a book, etc) and why you love it.

“Do what you feel in your heart to be right – for you’ll be criticized anyway. You’ll be damned if you do, and damned if you don’t.” Eleanor Roosevelt

I love this quote because you should do what you feel is right for you because no matter what you do someone always has an opinion or something to say about it, be it good or bad. I use part of this quote all the time. Do what you think is best, don’t worry what everyone else thinks.

Blog every day in May. Day 3, Friday: Things that make you uncomfortable May 3, 2013

Blog every day in May. Day 3, Friday: Things that make you uncomfortable.

This is an easy one. Things that make me uncomfortable.

Getting stuck on the side of the road with my vehicle broken down. It happens all too often these days and waiting to be rescued by my husband while the traffic zooms on by. It makes me very anxious, especially when I need to be somewhere like work.

Getting caught in the rain. I hate being wet. Nothing makes me more uncomfortable then feeling like a drowned cat. I don’t mind a warm sprinkling or drizzle. But I’ve been caught in downpours that just made me miserable.

wet cat

Family get togethers or any social events where I really don’t know the people well or have nothing in common with anyone.

I could probably add more but I’ll keep it short. So what makes you uncomfortable?
