This weeks “Share Your World” asks the following questions…

If you could choose between Wisdom and Luck, which one would you pick? It would be wisdom, so I could create my own luck. Right now I have the wisdom to know I don’t have a lot of luck, just a wish and a prayer.

luck

What is success for me? Being happy with what I’ve got and where I’m at, I’m still working on this.

What is your biggest fear or phobia? Falling, or should I say that sudden stop at the end.

What physical attribute do you like about yourself? Can be anywhere from beauty to heart to physical strength. I’m proud of my hair. It’s long, thick, naturally wavy and I don’t have to put much effort into it.

This week I celebrate a cooler week. I know it will eventually turn cold again but for now I am comfortable and that’s a good thing.

So what are you celebrating this week?

This weeks express yourself asks…What is the most frustrating/satisfying thing about being a writer? Not a writer, then pertain this question to whatever you’d like.

Well I’m definitely not a writer but I have to say one of my most frustrating things is never being able to focus on one thing. I would love to be a writer. Putting my thoughts down on paper is very satisfying to me. Now whether anyone would ever have an interest in what I was writing well that’s another story.

Just writing this blog and reading others made me realize there’s a lot more to writing than just words on paper. I commend anyone who has made their dream of a book a reality. It’s not easy.

Share Your World; Week 24 July 23, 2013

Filed under: Uncategorized — Cynthia @ 6:34 pm

Okay, I haven’t quite got down the schedule for posting “Share Your World” I was suppose to post it yesterday, but completely forgot about it. So here it is week 24.

If you had to eat only three meals/food for one month, what would you choose? Spaghetti and Meatballs with garlic bread. Chicken and Rice. Chili. I want food that has some sustenance to it.

Yummy

For your main meal do you prefer sweet and sour, hot and spicy, spicy and sweet, bitter, salty, bland or other? Most of my meals are seasoned with spices but not salt, everyone can salt to preference that way.

Do you prefer eating things with nuts or no nuts? Definitely without nuts, they always get stuck in my teeth.

For potlucks or parties do you cook it yourself, buy from a grocery store, or pay for catering? Depends how pressed for time I am and how much money I have at the time. Usually my hubby does the cooking.

Celebrate the Small Things- July 19 July 19, 2013

So here it is another “Celebrate the Small Things”, not as easy as you think, especially if you find that you are repeating yourself. To me this means my dull everyday life is stable. So I celebrate a stable week. Nothing major or catastrophic happened. The garden is good, the children are good, I scraped by till payday, temporarily solve my internet problem (I would go batty without my internet), and the rain has been a blessing.

So what small things are you celebrating?

social-media

I’ve have a list. Having the time and energy to actually be social is my biggest challenge. Money to do anything fun, or anything at all for that matter. Feeling awkward around new people.

So what’s your biggest challenge when it comes to being social?

Share Your World: Week 23 July 16, 2013

I have found yet another weekly blogging challenge. I have a hard time coming up with ideas to post. I love challenges and maybe in the future I will come up with a great challenge of my own. This one is Share Your World founded by Cee Nuener of Cee’s Photography

Week 23

I love her photography and I would join her photo challenges but my camera went kaput about a month ago. I need to start a piggy bank for buy Cindy a new camera fund.

I just found this challenge so I am a day late for Monday posting. They are on week 23 so here are the questions.

Are you mostly a clean or messy person?

As a kid was there any kind of candy that you didn’t like to get?  How about now?

Do you believe in extraterrestrials or life on other planets?

Have your blogging goals changed?

Are you mostly a clean or messy person? I’ll have to say I am mostly a messy person. I try to clean but when there is no place to store things, including no closets things have a tendency to pile up….and fall over. A lot.

As a kid was there any kind of candy that you didn’t like to get? How about now? Growing up my Dad loved black licorice, so it was always in our house. I hated the taste and still dislike it to this day.

Do you believe in extraterrestrials or life on other planets? My Dad and I use to watch everything we could about extraterrestrials. We use to watch “In search of…” and “Star Trek”. The universe is a big place, It would be selfish to think that we are the only ones that exist.

Have your blogging goals changed?I would have to say yes. I am writing more for the sake of my enjoyment as well as others.
