Celebrate the Small things: June 28 June 28, 2013

I went to the grocery store yesterday and brought my youngest son with me. He rarely gets to go anywhere. “Yeah an adventure” he says. Oh yes an adventure…

The grocery store went well…

It seems that every time my husband goes out of town and I run into town for whatever, something goes wrong with my vehicle.  So I am celebrating the kind young man who stopped and helped me at the grocery store yesterday get my truck running so I could get home. It was hot and my son was very patient and behaving well (always a blessing). I’m also celebrating that it was an easy fix and I did not have to buy any parts.

So what are you celebrating?

June 24-28

June 24-28 What Band, Singer or Group would be featured most of your WIP or Life?

Okay this couldn’t be any harder if it tried, I don’t listen to a lot of music, silence at times is my favorite sound. I really had to think about this one. I would have to say Gorden Lightfoot and Jim Croce through my life.

But at the moment, I am broker than broke but this is how I feel today. Life is good despite lack of money. It’s a good day to dance.

Celebrate the small things- June 14 June 14, 2013

This week I celebrate rain, it keeps our garden happy.

I also celebrate a clean refrigerator, (I’m not even going to go in to details on the yuck factor) it was long over due.

At work I finally figured out my next demming project, (improvement projects the my work requires of everyone). So overall it’s been a good week.

What are you celebrating?

Express Yourself June 10-14 June 13, 2013

Express Yourself June 10-14, What are the last two movies you saw?

I remember that last movie I went to see was The Hobbit, but to be perfectly honest I don’t remember what other movie I have seen because it’s been so long ago. I just can’t afford to go to the movies and I don’t watch TV, except for the half hour lunch break I get at work. Pretty sad huh?

What are the last two movies that you have seen?

Celebrate the Small Things: June 7 June 7, 2013

Celebrate the Small Things: June 7

Well what can I say about this week? I can honestly say that I celebrate surviving this week’s work.  It’s been a rough one. I started off the week very tired after working the weekend…a total of a 6 day work stretch. I just have to make it through today.

I also celebrate my continuing efforts for a clean house. I managed to clean the dust from my kitchen corners.

I celebrate not having a meltdown paying my bills this week, although as usual there’s not much left over.

So with my celebrations this week, I am looking forward to the upcoming weekend off, what are you celebrating?
