Celebrate the small things-Nov 8 November 8, 2013

She arrived on Halloween at my son’s house. Somebody’s trick, my treat. I’m celebrating my new fur baby, Aela. She’s only been here a week and has already been a joy to me.

And Life Goes On…. July 16, 2013

I have always loved babies, be it human or furry. It always breaks my heart when they fail to thrive. Today I lost another kitten. For what ever reason, my cats make the worst mothers ever. Maybe they just know when one is not healthy and won’t survive. She was a happy kitty and was eating solid food. Life sometimes is just not fair. Rest in peace little one.

A to Z Challenge: Z is For Zonker April 30, 2013

Day 26. My final post in this a to z challenge with the exception of my reflections post is Z is for Zonker.

No not the comic strip character, but he was named after it. Zonker is my very spoiled house cat. He has a deep meow like his daddy and some pretty sharp claws that when he’s playful, likes to reach out and snag some skin. His favorite place to sleep is either a clean basket of clothes or on top of my son’s winter coat.

My sons argue about whose cat he is. But we all know he’s pretty much he’s own kitty.
